Mubio Passenger

Introduction

In the dynamic scenario of corporate transport management, the need for an efficient mobile solution for Mubio’s service users arose. Facing this challenge, my team and I embarked on creating the Passeger app, aimed at enhancing real-time route and unit management. This case study highlights our innovative approach and the results achieved throughout the process.

Challenge

The main challenge lay in thoroughly understanding the needs of corporate transport users and addressing identified pain points. Through interviews and insight identification, we delved into the intricacies of the current system. The goal was to enhance the user experience by providing features such as route schedules, real-time location, seat reservation, check-in, delay alerts, and a section for comments and lost items on units.

Design Approach

Our design approach focused on ideating viable solutions based on identified needs. Through user research methodologies and ideation sessions, we crafted wireframes for the main MVP flows. These were then transformed into an interactive prototype using Figma. We initiated a validation process with stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment with project objectives before progressing to prototype testing with users.

Implemented Solutions

The implemented solutions focused on providing a smooth and functional user experience. We integrated route schedules, real-time location, seat reservations, check-in, delay alerts, and an interactive section for comments and lost items on units. Each feature was carefully designed to address identified pain points and enhance the efficiency of corporate transport services.

Results

The results obtained were remarkable. The Passeger app not only improved the efficiency of route and unit management but also garnered a positive response from users. The enhanced user experience translated into increased satisfaction and greater app utilization. Key performance indicators reflected a positive shift, validating the effectiveness of our implemented solutions.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the case study of the Passeger app highlights the team’s ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions. Close collaboration with stakeholders and the development team, coupled with continuous validation with users, was essential for the project’s success. The experience gained in this project showcases my proactive, user-centered approach as a UX Designer.
